Shared images from Japan reveal that third-generation AirPods will look quite similar to AirPods Pro. Apparently, Apple has now abandoned the design it preferred in AirPods and AirPods 2. The company will continue on its way with AirPods Pro-like headphones.
Not long ago, Bloomberg had prepared a report about the upcoming AirPods. According to this report, AirPods 3 had a similar design to AirPods Pro and would come with a shorter body. Also, according to Bloomberg, Apple wanted to improve the battery performance of its new wireless headset. The shared image reveals that the body of Apple’s new wireless headset has actually shortened.
Another detail in the shared images is about the storage box of AirPods 3. It seems Apple will not give up on the AirPods box design we are used to this time. Users will be able to place their wireless headphones vertically inside the box.
It is unknown when these products will be announced, but according to Bloomberg, the company will announce its new wireless headphones in 2021.
