It can be frustrating not to be able to use WhatsApp on the computer while your phone is off. WhatsApp will eliminate this problem very soon. WhatsApp will allow us to use the same WhatsApp account on multiple devices!
To use Whatsapp on your computer, your phone had to be connected to the Internet. An account that is also used on Android cannot be used on iOS at the same time. The situation is even worse on the iPad. There is no official WhatsApp app yet. You need to use third party ones that perform over a web-based API using some kind of trick.
WhatsApp seems to have listened to user comments and issues. To eliminate this situation, a new feature has been leaked by WABetainfo. WABetainfo says that WhatsApp is working to transform its messaging service into a multi-platform service. So very soon you will be able to use WhatsApp on multiple devices at the same time.
WhatsApp is developing a new system to allow to use the same WhatsApp account on more devices, at the same time!
Using the new multi platform system, it means you will be able to use:
- Your main WhatsApp account on iPad (when the app will be available) without uninstalling it from your iPhone.
- The same WhatsApp account on iOS and Android devices.
- WhatsApp on your computer (without the necessity for an Internet connection on your phone) using the UWP app (this is one of the reasons why started to develop it).
In fact, Telegram users have already been using this feature. How much is it necessary for you to use Whatsapp on multiple platforms ?
