A few hours ago, CloudFlare and the sites in its service crashed. Most sites and Techindeep could not be reached for a few minutes / hours. Cloudflare System Status reported the following:

Investigating – Cloudflare is observing network performance issues. Customers may be experiencing 502 errors while accessing sites on Cloudflare.

Cloudflare has not yet explained exactly what the problem is, but they said they have solved it and are monitoring the results. According to our information, a heavy DDoS attack from China has taken place against CloudFlare. They don’t want people to know what’s going on in Honk Kong. We believe that the DDOS attack was carried out by the government.

Cloudflare operates as a content delivery network and distributed DNS (domain name server). Its services protect website owners from peak loads, comment spam attacks and DDoS (distributed denial of service) attacks.
