Phone Specifications

This mode is not new for Xiaomi devices. Previously made in Mi 9, this mode is not recommended for normal users.

Developed by XDA Developers, this mode offers a higher screen refresh rate for the Xiaomi Mi 9T / Redmi K20 and K20 Pro. Research by developers indicated that both devices could achieve a 90 Hz refresh rate, but were not ready for that for the time being. You need some experience to install the mode, which requires an installation similar to that of the Xiaomi Mi 9. By installing this mode, you are pushing the phone’s limits. The phone does not have such a refresh rate by default.

Even though the screen refresh rate is changed after this process, we can say that the battery usage of your phone will decrease significantly. Since there is no information on how this change will affect your phone’s screen in the long run, we advise you not to do this if you do not want to permanently damage your phone.
