After Steve Jobs, Apple became a big wing of the mobile industry. Innovations of the iOS operating system are introduced at the WWDC Developer Conference held in June every year. A few features of iOS 14, which will be introduced with the WWDC 2020 event on June 22, have surfaced.
Top iOS 14 Features
In fact, Widgets have been around for years already on iOS. However, instead of being in the area you want like Android, they are in a special area. We do not know if we will have the flexibility to resize and place it in the area we want. If this feature is added with iOS 14, users who think that the home screen interface has not changed for years can change their mind.
The iPhone messaging service iMessage will have three basic features with iOS 14: Read receipts, “writing” indicator and Apple Cash.
One of the most essential features of iMessage, ‘read receipts’ allows you to see when other people read your messages, but unfortunately this does not apply to group messages. In addition, the ‘writing’ bubble is not present in group messages.
A group support for Apple Cash can be useful for transactions such as sharing an invoice amount.
There is a lot of news that iOS 14 will change the recent application style. iOS’s recent apps are style and looks pretty nice and are pretty functional. Apple may take this into account, even though the previously published videos and photos were made with Jailbreak. Maybe Apple can offer users multiple choices.
New Wallpapers and Wallpaper Settings
Screenshots allegedly taken from iOS 14 show us new wallpaper replacement options. Maybe there are animated options like MIUI Super Wallpapers on iOS 14.
The screenshots clearly show the categorized wallpapers. Although the only category we can see in the screenshots is ‘Classic Stripes’ for now, according to the codes found by 9to5Mac, there will also be categories called ‘World and Moon’ and ‘Flowers’.
Augmented Reality (AR) App
Apple’s new AR app is now called Gobi. For now, we expect the application, which is reported to have Apple Store and Starbucks support, to be integrated into many third party software in the coming period. According to some rumors, it will add a time-of-flight sensor to the rear camera of the iPhone 12 models.
We’ll have to wait 22 June to learn about the many new features and interface improvements left over.
