Phone Specifications

The third version of Android Q Developer Preview has been released for users of OnePlus 6, 6T, 7 and 7 Pro models. It is not known when OnePlus will end the beta process, but the company has told users that they need to reduce their expectations of when to upgrade the operating system.

If you are using a OnePlus, do not update it without reading it. If you already have an Android Q developer version installed on your phone, you will have to back up all the data on your phone before switching to the 3rd developer preview, because installing the new developer preview update on the phone will delete all data. But those with stable or open beta will not have to delete anything when switching to the preview version.

As for the update issues, OnePlus 7 and 7 Pro users may notice that the on-screen fingerprint scanner feature is not available when they install the developer preview on their phone, in which case you need to wake up the phone by pressing the power key before using the fingerprint.

It is not known which OnePlus devices will end the beta version of the Android Q preview for their devices, but the company says they are still “in the early stages of the development process”.
